When you give, you receive more.
Charaf works as the spa host at the Hotel Villa Maroc in Essaouira, Morocco. He works alongside his wife who is a massage therapist. Charaf and his wife have been married for many years and have two children together. At first his family is all he would talk about, but the more Charaf opened up, the more his wisdom about generosity came through. He said he doesn’t give with the expectation of receiving in return, but somehow it always comes back bigger. Charaf has met people from all over the world, and even had a story about meeting Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. He speaks four languages – English, French, a local mountain language and his native Arabic. Charaf was an amazing host, and I had a wonderful time with him, hearing his stories while feeding bread to the spa’s peacocks.
